World’s richest woman Gina Rinehart is enduring a media firestorm over an article in which she takes the “jealous” middle class to task for “drinking, or smoking and socializing” rather than working to earn their own fortune.
What if she has a point?

Steve Siebold, author of “How Rich People Think,” spent nearly three decades interviewing millionaires around the world to find out what separates them from everyone else. It had little to do with money itself, he told Business Insider. It was about their mentality. ”[The middle class] tells people to be happy with what they have,” he said. “And on the whole, most people are steeped in fear when it comes to money.”

MPD thanks to Non-English Languages!!!

I have come to appreciate and respect non-native English speakers who speak English without fear or shame. I remember taking that flight many months ago swearing that I’d become as good as a native French speaker and feeling like I was on track to becoming a polyglot like my polyglot mentor Pope John Paul II who spoke at least 10 international languages of which he spoke 8 fluently.
I often wondered why in Nigeria, foreigners smiled so much. I came up with the answer that it was because Nigerians are warm people. I know the right answer now, I’ve lived it!!!

My new life in Texas

For a while now, i have totally immersed myself into country music. I sing it, breathe it and “live” it.
I have also gone back into time hooking up with the Righteous brothers, Billy Joel, The Beatles, the Shirelles amongst others.
Anytime I sing these songs, for some inexplicable reason, I am reminded of Cowboys sweating sexy. So I have decided to move to Texas (maybe in my next life) to live on a farm with nice crops ( a tomato garden is a must) and animals and of course a sexy cowboy husband and sweet children!

I’d like to start with this song. You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey. You’ll never know dear how much I love you. Please don’t take my sunshine away….. Okay, yes, I had a very privileged childhood where knowing a song like this was expected. It’s a shame to see that a lot of kids now know only religious or street songs and not a word of even a nursery rhyme. Ok, before I digress.

Best Long Distance Relationship Songs

Really, this is my first blog post and I’ve been wondering what to write about. When I first created this blog, i had a lot of smart ideas but now I’m suffering from a disease famous writers have and that is writer’s block. OKAY! Maybe I’m not a famous writer or anywhere near being one but I like to give talks and I get called to give them often!!!
Whenever I feel sad, I listen to music. Whenever I’m bored, I listen to music. When i’m happy, i listen to music. When I think of the happy ending of my wonderful “relationship- to- be”, the same thing goes. So I’m def hooked to it.
For a while, I’ve been listening to songs that help long distance relationships (please don’t ask me why) and I’ve decided to share them. To be in love and having to spend days and months apart from each other is pure torture. The world seems so lonely and during these lonely moments, when you are looking for solace, these long distance love songs are just right for you. So here goes:
